Be Moved is a mindful movement class. Explore your unique range of movement with both patterned steps and playful personal expression. Building safe movement practice with layers and options, we will stimulate brain/body connections with interesting moves. Be Moved is a gentle, playful class to help you reconnect with yourself and others as we share the dance floor in rhythmic exploration. You'll be challenged, you'll find flow, and you'll leave feeling energized and connected. Adaptable for all levels of fitness, seated participation is an option. Every Body is welcome on my dance floor. Let yourself Be Moved!

I created Moving Through Counselling and Wellness to be of service to my community. We each move through, quite literally, all of life’s difficulties and joys. It helps to have some good tools and good accompaniment along the way, so we can do it with more ease and grace.

I’ve been a Registered Counselling Therapist since 2010. My primary modality is Somatic Experiencing, using a trauma-informed approach to supporting personal change and healing.

I’ve been a mover all my life, and a movement teacher since 2011. I learned and taught Nia for 14 years, and am now offering mindful movement classes bringing together the strongest threads of my own somatic education and joy. I believe that individual healing and community movement are deeply connected.
